Driven by a lifelong devotion to aviation, I am Corentin, a 26-year-old whose journey began in the real-world cockpits of helicopters, where the extraordinary experiences of pilots I knew firsthand ignited a passion that eventually expanded to every corner of the skies. When a visual impairment rendered a professional pilot's license unattainable, I turned to simulation not just as a hobby, but as a gateway to the impossible, fueled by a childhood fascination with ultra-realistic cinematic films that made the dream feel tangible. Today, I find myself captivated by the thinning veil between the real and the virtual; I deliberately play with this ambiguity in my work, using modern technology to create a visual confusion that challenges the senses. My technical evolution has been a dedicated climb through every major platform—from the early days of Flight Simulator X and Prepar3D to X-Plane 10 Global, 11, and 12, and ultimately the breathtaking landscapes of Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. What started in 2021 as a way to escape the isolation of the COVID-19 lockdowns has transformed from simple livestreams into the Guilb’Air project—a unique community-driven and commercial venture built on a foundation of exceptional trust. Many of those who joined me in those early days remain by my side, forming a loyal core that has grown into a global family, allowing me to showcase the masterful work of developers while proving that shared passion can turn personal limitations into a profound, authentic reality.
